I've never been a fan of video games. I think the only time I've played a video game was at my friends house with her brothers. I enjoyed playing the game , just never had enough money to purchase a game box after the other got out of style. Besides my mother believed that video games were bad and would distract my sisters and I from our main priority which was school. It was a pain for me to do my homework as it was , so having a game box would just further discourage me to do well in school.
Not all games are the same. Some video games are played for fun, and others are more conceptional . Chess is a perfect example of a game that's more strategic then it is fun. It requires a lot thought be put into it, very different from a shooting game; were if you see your enemy you aim and simply fire with your control. I'm not saying that its easy to play games in general, all games require a even a slightest thought. Not to long ago, my English teacher asked us to play a game called Ayiti: The Cost of Life, although the game seems tedious, it teaches you survival skills.
